Cloud County Community College’s theatre department will present “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical” November 30 – December 3 at Concordia’s Brown Grand Theatre.
The musical follows the saga of the Herdmans, the worst kids in the history of the world, as they crash Sunday school and demand parts in the Christmas pageant. The whole town panics, because there aren’t supposed to be fighting or cigar-smoking in Bethlehem. Soon, everyone from the terrified pint-sized shepherd to the furious church ladies, are calling for first-time director Grace to cancel the show. But it’s up to her and the Reverend to help their community see the Christmas story and the Herdman kids through new eyes in the musical adaptation of the funny and touching holiday classic.
