The Board of Marshall County Commissioners met in regular adjourned session with Robert S. Connell, Chairman, David E. Baier member and Sonya L. Stohs, County Clerk present.
Commissioner Feldhausen was absent from the meeting.
The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m.
The Board opened the meeting with the flag salute.
The minutes and agenda were approved as presented upon a motion by David E. Baier seconded by Robert S. Connell. Motion carried.
Public Works Administrator Mike Craig and Public Works Coordinating Supervisor Larry Polson met with the Board.
Robert S. Connell moved, seconded by David E. Baier to approve the following purchase orders. Motion carried.

The Board, Public Works Administrator Mike Craig and Public Works Coordinating Supervisor Larry Polson went to the basement to view the generator and discuss declaring it surplus and trying to sell it.
County Attorney/Counselor Laura Johnson-McNish met with the Board asking why the County Attorney office uses iMac computers.

Health Nurse Sue Rhodes met with the Board to give a monthly update and ask about having Megan Woodyard do the cleaning at 2.5 hours a week at $15.00 an hour.
Sheriff Daniel A. Hargrave and Health Nurse Sue Rhodes met with the Board to discuss having Advance Correctional Healthcare, Inc. take care of the medical services for the jail with a cost of $52,339.14 that with increase or decrease with the average population going higher or lower than 20 inmates. David E. Baier moved, seconded by Robert S. County Sanitarian Marlene Stamm met with the Board to give a monthly update and discuss her new contract.
Emergency Management Director William Schwindamann Jr. met with the Board to discuss his office being closed.
David E. Baier moved, seconded by Robert S. Connell to go into executive session for thirty minutes at 9:29 a.m. to discuss matters of nonelected personnel to assure compliance with policies and laws with County Clerk Sonya L. Stohs present. Motion carried.
County Clerk Sonya L. Stohs recommended the movement of Angie Frederickson, Marysville to the Deputy County Clerk position effective September 1, 2017. David E. Baier moved, seconded by Robert S. Connell the movement of Angie Frederickson, Marysville to the Deputy County Clerk position effective September 1, 2017. Motion carried.
Robert S. Connell moved, seconded by David E. Baier to approve the County’s share of payrolls and related vouchers, as presented, processed the motor vehicle payroll and issued manual warrants from the respective funds. Motion carried.
Health Nurse Sue Rhodes met with the Board.
